Shilpa Shetty‘s husband and businessman Raj Kundra was arrested on July 19 in a case of making pornographic films. He was then remanded in police custody till July 23. He was produced before a magistrate’s court today on completion of his remand.
Police demanded a further 7-day remand. However, the court granted remand for four more days and remanded Raj in police custody till July 27. His bail plea rejected by court, Mumbai police told the court that it was suspected that he was using the proceeds from pornography in online betting, which was why an investigation into his bank account was necessary.
Importantly, along with him, his company’s IT head Ryan Tharp has also been remanded in police custody till July 27. Mumbai Police Commissioner Hemant Nangral has named him as the main conspirator in the case of making pornographic films.

Umesh Kamat, a British sales company, was arrested after the property cell was found to be involved in making porn videos. He was the former PA of Raj Kundra. Umesh was accused of making money by uploading at least eight pornographic and offensive videos shot by Gehenna Vashisht on a social media app.
Allegedly Shilpa Shetty’s husband Raj Kundra was uploading a porn video on the Hotshots app. Mumbai’s Joint Commissioner of Police Milind Bhambre said the app,

In this case, the police arrested TV actress Gehena Vashisht, Yasmin R. Khan, Monu Joshi, Pratibha Nalwade, m. Atif Ahmed, Deepnakar, Bhanusurya Thakur, Tanveer Hashmi and Umesh Kamat have been arrested.
