Vivek Agnihotri, the director of the movie ‘The Kashmir Files’ which is currently making waves in cinemas, is 48 years old and was born on November 10, 1973 in Indore, Madhya Pradesh. Born into a Brahmin family, Vivek Agnihotri’s father’s name is Prabhu Dayal Agnihotri and mother’s name is Sharda Agnihotri. Vivek Agnihotri married actress Pallavi Joshi in 1997 and they have one daughter and one son.

Vivek Agnihotri studied management from abroad after studying at the Indian Institute of Mass Communication. Early in his career, Vivek Agnihotri worked as a creative director for ad agencies and then for a TV show in 1994. Since then he has been involved in direction and production.
