I could not sit at home waiting for a good opportunity to knock on my door. So, I decided to join a BPO last year’. Ekta Sharma was last seen in Ekta Kapoor’s show ‘Bepanah Pyaar’, which went off-air in 2020 and that’s when the Corona epidemic started.

Ekta Sharma added that ‘I love my craft and want to return to acting. I regularly audition and go for look tests. Hope something works very soon’. It is sad that even after working in the TV industry for almost two decades, I am not getting work. I am thankful to my late father for advising me to complete my graduation before entering acting. It is because of his advice that I am earning money and taking care of myself. My office people are also supportive. He welcomed me with open heart. But I am disappointed with people in my industry who did not come forward to give me work’.
