Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor are eagerly waiting for their first child. After getting married in April 2022, Alia announced her first pregnancy in June. After which both Alia and Ranbir were busy in the shooting and promotion of their respective films. After the release of Ranbir’s ‘Shamshera’ and Alia’s ‘Darlings’ and before promoting ‘Brahmastra’, the couple jetted off for a babymoon. Alia and Ranbir have gone to Italy for their babymoon. Actress Sonam Kapoor, who is currently pregnant, also went here for her babymoon with husband Anand Ahuja a few months ago.

Let it be known that Ranbir Kapoor has played the role of Agni Astra in the film ‘Brahmastra’. Directed by Ayan Mukherjee, Alia and Ranbir will be seen together on screen for the first time. In the film, Ranbir’s character is named Shiva while Alia plays the role of his love interest Isha. Interestingly, Alia and Ranbir fell in love during the shooting of ‘Brahmastra’.

Alia-Ranbir dated each other for five years till the shooting of ‘Brahmastra’ went on. After which the couple tied the knot on 14 April 2022. Alia-Ranbir got married at their home in Mumbai in the presence of close friends and family. In the month of June, Alia Bhatt shared the news of pregnancy through social media.

On the work front, Alia Bhatt will now be seen in films like ‘Rocky Aur Rani Ki Premkahani’, ‘Jee Le Zara’. Alia will debut in Hollywood with ‘Heart of Stone’. While Ranbir Kapoor will now be seen in ‘Animal’ and Love Ranjan’s untitled film.
