Popular Bollywood singer-songwriter and disco king Buppi Lahiri is no more. The death of Buppi Lahiri has rekindled a wave of mourning not only in his family but also in the music and film industry. Buppi Lahiri and fans of music are also stunned. Mithun Chakraborty has also been shocked by the demise of Bappi Dana, who composed many blockbuster songs in the 80’s and 90’s and made disco music popular. He has also expressed his pain.

Bappi Lahiri played a major role in Mithun Chakraborty’s career. He performed songs like Disco Dancer and Jimmy Jimmy with Mithun Chakraborty. Buppi Lahiri, 69, had been admitted to Juhu’s Criticare Hospital for the past one month. He had many health problems. He was discharged from the hospital on Monday but fell ill again on Tuesday and died at midnight. Since his son Bappa is in the US, Bappi’s funeral was held after his arrival.
