Popular singer and actor Rupinder Singh alias Gippy Grewal of Punjabi film industry has now completed 20 years in the industry. As no one gets success in life by chance, Gippy Grewal too has put in a lot of struggle and hard work to reach this stage. Before debuting in the year 2002, he worked three jobs in Canada with wife Ranneet Kaur and also worked cleaning toilets and delivering newspapers from door to door to earn extra money. However, he was not at all ashamed of doing this work and was overjoyed. He disclosed this in an interview given recently.

Gippy Grewal pointed out how toilet cleaners are viewed differently in India, treating the job differently from other jobs. He added, ‘It is unfortunate that cleaning toilets is considered a good job. When I was in Canada, I was doing a cleaning job. I used to clean the toilet too. I actually worked it out and I was like, this is normal. I didn’t mind doing that job. I was getting paid more for it and he was happy too. Ravneet and I were happy in Canada too. We used to get up at 4.30 in the morning and deliver newspapers to people’s homes’. Along with this, Singer also said that he believes that money does not buy happiness.
