Major Movie Review: Adivi Shesh’s film is an honest tribute to Major Sandeep
The story

The story of the film is something like the wedding sword hanging over the head of Manokam Tripathi (Nusar Bharucha) who played the lead role in the film. Her parents have given her an ultimatum to get married or find a job. In many places he is rejected in interviews. Manokamana has done a double MA. To avoid marriage, she accepted a job as a sales girl at a condom company. In a small village in Madhya Pradesh where condoms are considered dirty or obscene, he hides his job from family members. Meanwhile, her feud with Ranjan (Anud Singh Dhaka), who has acted on occasions like Ramlila and Jagran, turns into love. Despite having a joint family system after marrying Ranjan, Manokamana has to hide her job. For this job he has to struggle a lot and also face jokes.

When the domineering father-in-law and old-fashioned father-in-law (Vijay Raj) finds out about the job, a storm breaks out in the house. But until then the seriousness of Manokam’s own work has been misunderstood. She knows how many women lose their lives due to abortion due to lack of safe sex. But for all these reasons, her marriage is in danger. Will you accept the defeat of mental work? Will he be able to save his marriage? Will it be able to awaken people? You have to watch the movie to get the answers to these questions.

Review

The film’s story handles serious topics such as condoms as well as safe sex, abortion, contraception with a smile. The special thing about the film is that the oneliners and comic punch are fun. The story progresses rapidly in the first half, but the film slows down a bit in the second half. The directors could have made Nusrat’s struggle more difficult if they had wanted to. The second half should have been stronger. However the climax of the film is very good.

The lead actors of the film as well as the rest of the cast have done a great job. He has contributed to make the film more entertaining. When it comes to music, the songs are average. Speaking of Nusrat Bharucha, she is one of the actresses of today who can play bold and sensitive subjects and roles instinctively. Amod provides a lot of entertainment in the role of Ranjan, but his role needed to be given more depth. Collaborative cast makes the film stronger. Brijendra Kala in the role of Manokamana’s boss while Vijay Raj in the role of father-in-law. It will be nice to see Tinu Anand after a long time. Paritosh Tripathi has also done a very good job.
