The T-Series wrote on its official Twitter handle that “We took legal rights to adapt the song Nach Punjaban from the album Nach Punjaban released on iTunes on January 1, 2022.” The song is also available on Lollywood Classics’ YouTube channel. To its right is the Moviebox Records label. Credit will be given on all platforms when the song is released. The song in question is copyrighted by Moviebox, along with all the legal documents.
Abrar-ul-Haq tweeted that he had not sold the song used by Karan Johar in Nach Punjaban. He wrote that producers like Karan Johar should not steal songs. This is my sixth song, which has been stolen or copied. However, no statement has been issued by Dharma Productions and Karan Johar in this regard.
Jug Jug Geo is set to release on June 24. The film is directed by Raj Mehta and produced by Karan Johar. The film stars Varun Dhawan, Kiara Advani, Neetu Kapoor, Anil Kapoor, Manish Paul and Tisca Chopra among others.
