Bollywood actress Malaika Arora’s car had an accident on the Mumbai-Pune highway on Saturday. Malaika was discharged from the hospital on Sunday morning after spending a night in the hospital. According to the Itimes report, Malaika Arora was approached by her boyfriend Arjun Kapoor to bring her home from the hospital. Malaika Arora’s sister Amrita Arora has also confirmed that the actress has been discharged and returned home.

In an interview to Hindustan Times, Amrita Arora said, “Malaika has come home and her health is improving. In a few days she will be completely healed.” According to sources, a few stitches have been taken on Malaika’s forehead. When Amrita was asked about this, she avoided answering. Malaika Arora was discharged from Apollo Hospital in Navi Mumbai on Sunday morning. Malaika’s car was involved in an accident near Khalapur Toll Plaza on Saturday. Malaika’s car collided with two other cars on the highway. Malaika sustained minor injuries in the accident. He underwent a CT scan which was reported to be normal.

Malaika was returning from Pune Times Fashion Week on Saturday when her car met with an accident around 4.45 pm. A bus and two cars collided near a food mall and one of them collided with Malaika’s car. An assistant police inspector at Khopoli police station told a news portal that he had registered the registration numbers of the three cars involved in the accident and an FIR would be registered after a thorough investigation into how and by whom the accident took place.
