Vivek Agnihotri’s film The Kashmir Files is being discussed across the country. The film tells the story of the atrocities perpetrated on Kashmiri Pandits in Jammu and Kashmir Valley. While a large number of people are liking the film, while the film is doing well at the box office, there is a section that is criticizing the film. Many people believe that this film is made for an agenda and it can ruin the atmosphere of the country. Earlier, Nana Patekar had made such a comment and now actor Prakash Raj has also given a similar reaction.

Now actor Prakash Raj has also expressed his views on The Kashmir Files. He has made several tweets regarding this film. He also shared a video in which people could be seen chanting anti-Muslim slogans and chanting “Jai Shri Ram” at the end of the movie. Sharing this video, the actor has written in the caption that, Kashmir files … Is this film healing wounds or sowing seeds of hatred? I’m just asking.

Prakash Raje has done other tweets in the same way. In a tweet, he asked Vivek Agnihotri, “From an actor to a producer, will you release these files too?” And then he shared a picture which mentions Godhra files, Delhi files, GST files, Notebandhi files, Kovid files, Ganga files.

Prakash Raj believes that by making such films, an attempt is being made to divide the people of the country. Without mentioning the name of the film, the actor wrote, “Piles and files … Warning … If these extremists continue to divide our country into Hindus and Muslims in this way, we Indians will soon become a minority.”

Vivek Agnihotri’s film The Kashmir Files tells the story of the atrocities perpetrated on Pandits in the valley in the 90’s. The film was released in theaters on March 11 and has grossed over Rs 200 crore so far.
