Rajasthan High Court grants relief to Salman Khan in antelope case – Rajasthan High Court allowed transfer petition of Salman Khan in 1998 blackbuck case

The High Court will hear 3 separate petitions pending in the Sessions Court
Salman Khan, who was sentenced to five years by the trial court, had appealed to the sessions court against the verdict. The Arms Act, on the other hand, had appealed against the decision to release Salman Khan. The third petition against Salman was filed by Poonam Chand. The three petitions were being heard in Sessions Court. However, in the case of the three petitions, the transfer petition in the High Court said that the three petitions are interconnected and all the petitions should be heard together in the High Court.
Accused of hunting antelope during the shooting of ‘Hum Saath Saath Hai’
For the last two decades, Salman Khan’s antelope hunting case has been the subject of much discussion. Salman Khan is accused of killing two antelopes in Bhagodda Ki Dhani area near Kankani village in Jodhpur during the shooting of ‘Hum Saath Saath Hai’. The case is being heard against Salman as well as Saif Ali Khan, Sonali Bendre, Neelam and Tabu. The state government has filed an application in the high court against the decision to release the four actors.
Sister Alvira was present in court at the time of the hearing
Salman’s sister Alvira was present in the court during the hearing of Salman Khan’s transfer petition in the Rajasthan High Court. Alvira’s face lit up as the court granted the transfer petition. After the hearing, Alvira left for Mumbai. It may be mentioned that Salman’s sister Alvira used to come to Jodhpur during the ongoing hearings in the antelope case.
