Comedian Raju Srivastava, who made everyone laugh by becoming Gajodhar Bhaiya, has made everyone cry today. Raju Srivastava passed away on September 21. The comedian who fought a life and death battle for 42 days in the hospital has lost and left the family in tears. Raju Srivastava’s body has been kept at Delhi’s AIIMS hospital. However, his mortal remains will not be brought to Mumbai. It has been reported that his last rites are to be held in Delhi.

Sources told our associate ETimes TV, “The family is devastated by Raju Srivastav’s demise. They are not ready to accept this bitter truth. It is a big loss for the family. Raju Srivastav’s last rites will be held in Delhi. His body will not be brought to Mumbai. Raju Srivastava’s brother lives in Delhi. Hence, the family has decided to cremate the body in Delhi instead of bringing the body back to Mumbai.”

When will the funeral be held? Responding to a question, the source continued, “Raju Srivastava will be cremated on Thursday, September 22. The cremation will take place at 10 am. In a few hours, Raju’s body will be taken to his brother’s home.”

It may be mentioned that Raju Srivastava suffered a heart attack on August 10 while exercising in a gym in Delhi. He was immediately shifted to Delhi AIIMS for treatment. He was treated here for 42 days. Sometimes his health was good and sometimes it was bad. He was on ventilator since he was admitted to the hospital. Finally, he has left his wife and two children crying for Anant. Colleagues and actors from the entertainment world have expressed grief over his demise.
