Bonnie Kapoor, father of Bollywood filmmaker and actress Jahnvi Kapoor and husband of late actress Sridevi, has become a victim of cyber crime. About four lakh rupees have been stolen from his bank account. He came to know about this and immediately spoke to the bank and lodged a complaint with the Mumbai Police. The whole matter is being investigated but the accused has not been arrested yet.

According to media reports, five transactions were made with Bonnie Kapoor’s credit card and Rs 3.82 lakh disappeared from the account. According to preliminary information, no one had called Bonnie Kapoor or asked for credit card information before the scam took place. Bonnie Kapoor came to know about the whole thing when a bank official called her to pay the credit card bill. He has now lodged a complaint with the Amboli police station under information technology after talking to the bank.

Regarding the incident, police officials said that it appears that the data may have been extracted while using Bonnie Kapoor’s credit card. It is also learned that the money withdrawn from the producer’s account has been transferred to an account in Gurugram. The whole incident is currently under investigation. Attempts are being made to nab the accused as soon as possible.
