The film Medal tells the story of a village teacher from a big city when he recognizes the talent of mischievous children and prepares them to participate in a competition.

What is the story of Film Medal?

Ahmedabad teacher Ajit (Jayesh More) joins a small village called Timbli as an English subject teacher. This teacher, who is strict in nature and has the attitude that the children of the village should study and move forward in life, is not liked by the other teachers of his school. Because, teacher Ajit insists on working with discipline and decides to improve the future of the children. Then this teacher recognizes the sports talent of the village students studying there and prepares them for the Khel Mahakumbha competition. Coming to school only for mid-day meal, these students want to take interest in sports as well as studies and move in new directions. Then we had to watch the inspirational English film Medal to see whether these children will be able to win a medal.

The performances of the actors in Medal are heart-wrenching

Actor Jayesh More in the role of a disciplined teacher in Gujarati Film Medal while actor Chetan Daya in the role of Sarpanch has done powerful acting. Actor Maulik Nayak in the role of Pun Raman makes the audience laugh like always. Actor Hemang Dave in the role of Mohan, who is negative along with comedy, grabs the audience’s attention till the end. Apart from this, the acting of the child actors is also relatively good. Even today the caste system is seen in the villages which is very effectively presented in the film Madal.

Because the Madal film is long, the audience gets bored

Inspirational Gujarati film Medal is quite long and may take long for the audience to understand what its story is at the very beginning. The use of music in Medal is not as well done as it should be. But, the camera work of Tapan Vyas in the film Medal is very beautiful. In which various scenes of the village have been well captured in the camera. However, Medal sometimes feels that some scenes in the story do not connect and drag unnecessarily long. But, if you want to watch an inspirational Gujarati film with a village background then Medal is a must watch.
