The film is a tribute to Sardar Udham Singh, the hero of India’s freedom struggle. In which actor Vicky Kaushal is in the lead role. Revolutionary Sardar shot and killed Michael O’Dwyer in London.

Which was originally revenge for the Jallianwala Bagh massacre. Meanwhile, Michael O’Dwyer was the Governor of Punjab during British rule. The film is based on true events in pre-independence India.

The film is the story of a revolutionary who is living in a fire of sorrow and revenge. It traces the beginning of World War II. Which shows the flashback as well as the period.

The purpose of the film is to understand what was the spirit of an innocent boy during the Jallianwala Bagh massacre and why he did not run away from the scene even though he went to London and shot Michael O’Dwyer.

The art direction of London and Punjab of that time deserves praise. The film is a bit long, 2 hours 42 minutes in this film the audience has to be patient.

It is noteworthy that actor Vicky Kaushal has tried as Sardar Udham.

Earlier, actor Irrfan Khan was the first choice in the lead role in the film. Also, Vicky Kaushal has done admirable acting. The film also features stories and scenes of one-sided martyr Bhagat Singh.

In one scene, Sardar Udham Singh, recalling the past, asks a British official, “What were you doing when you were 23 years old?” The film shows that Sardar Udham’s adventure never faltered in the pre-independence period.

He traveled to many countries, had many passports, and did various jobs. He lived in London for a long time, hiding in the crowd for the rest of his life.
