Satyamev Jayate 2 Review

The story of Satyamev Jayate, a film released in the year 2018, was based on corruption and hunger for power. So it was necessary to have such a theme for Satyamev Jayate 2 too.

Writer-director Milap Zaveri and his team left no stone unturned to preserve and sustain this theme. Satyamev Jayate 2 is made like a mass film of the ’80s.

You will not be surprised when you see on the screen that John Abraham’s character has become an honest man who punishes the murderers of innocent people.

You will not be surprised to know that the person who sentenced the criminals to death is the truth. Jay has only been brought in to honestly investigate and bring to justice.
Milap Zaveri has expressed without any hesitation that his film is a tribute to the films of the 80s.

It is evident in the dialogues and screenplay of the film. For example, Satya calls the ACP and says that he will punish the criminals, no matter what happens.

Scenes with Jay’s entry, scenes of Dadasaheb Azad (John Abraham) as a farmer, etc. are reminiscent of old movies. There is also a scene in the film before the climax in which the two brothers fight inside.

In short, there is nothing wrong with adding spices to the theme of the film.
Milap Zaveri has tried to combine several issues together in the film. There is talk of corruption and also the issue of farmer suicides and the issue of crime against women.

The Nirbhaya scandal is also being discussed. There is an ombudsman bill. Religious tolerance is a discussion of religious harmony. Not only that but the role of today’s media and social media has also been highlighted.

Acting

This spice of John Abraham is seen on the screen in the comfort of old-school films, whether it is the character of the Judwa brothers or their father. Despite the triple role, John Abraham has done him justice with instinct and ease.

If he shows a little restraint as the truth on the screen, he will not hesitate to become a peasant leader by fighting for the Jai Lok or the Lokpal Bill in the Legislative Assembly.

Divya Khosla Kumar also looks good. His role in this male-dominated film is very important. The character of Vidya is one who accompanies the truth.

She prefers to remain silent when disagreeing but does not hesitate to oppose her husband Satya and minister father (Harsh Chhaya) on certain issues.

Gautami Kapoor has played the role of Dadasaheb’s wife and Satya-Jaya’s mother in the film and that is fine. Apart from this, Harsh Chhaya, Anoop Soni, Zakir Hussain, Dayashankar Pandey, and Sahil Vaid have played their part well.

The songs in the film are good. Then that wedding song will be her lehenga, Karva Chauth’s song Meri Zindagi Tu. Apart from this, Nora Fatehi’s explosive item number is also Kusu Kusu.

This is a hardcore action movie. John Abraham does not disappoint as an action hero. Action buffs will love this movie. Some scenes seem far from reality.

When three John Abrahams are seen together to stop a helicopter, it feels like this is something too much.

Why watch

If you like spice and action movies and are a fan of John Abraham then you will love this movie.
