Actor Sar Kashyap in a conversation with ‘Etimes’ said that when I started my career in the industry, I used to meet many casting directors for acting work. Then when I met a well-known casting director of a top TV production house, he advised me that to survive in the industry one needs a special skill apart from talent. Then I was called to a special place. Where they left the talk of work and started talking about some private affairs.
Sir Kashyap further said that the casting director did not talk to me about the audition. He asked me to show private parts. So that my eyes were covered with darkness. I just said then that I will focus only on my audition and then I politely declined and walked out of the place. This incident was shocking for me. That’s when I realized that people sitting in powerful places exploit artists coming from a small town, I am from Guwahati city. After this incident, I was stressed and scared to even meet people.

Sir Kashyap also said that after this incident I realized that Mumbai is not safe for men as well as women. It took me a long time to recover from this incident. But, because I believe in myself, I am a successful actor today. Apart from TV shows, Saar Kashyap has also acted in some films. In which films like ‘Padmaavat’ and ‘Sheep of Shisis’ are included.
