An outraged Shweta Bachchan
Abhishek Bachchan always responds to trollers in a humorous manner and in good language. In an interview, Abhishek said that laughing at oneself is healthy. Navya’s podcast discussed men, the Bachchan family’s relationship with the media and the experiences of being a popular celebrity. Shweta Bachchan then said, “This is what bothers me and it’s useless. People always verbally attack popular celebrities and it’s disturbing. My blood boils and it bothers me. When someone with Abhishek I don’t like it when something goes wrong because you don’t know what it is. It’s wrong and I feel worse because he’s my little brother.”
‘Feels bad for brother’
Shweta continued, “I don’t feel this for papa but I do for Abhishek because he is always compared to something that is incredible. How can you expect someone to match? This can’t be your perfect life. Well, you have to find success that can’t always be measured.”
‘This has been going on for the last 20 years’
Shweta further said, “Even if you get 8 marks out of 10, people will say – hey, your father scored 10 but he scored eight. You completely ignore someone’s achievements because someone in his family has done better than him. But that does not mean that the person has done bad. I think such things are absurd and this thing has been going on for the last 20 years.”
