According to Box Office India.com, the film ‘The Kashmir Files’ grossed a total of Rs 26.50 crore in its first weekend. The Kashmir Files had a turnover of just Rs 3.25 crore on Friday. While on Saturday it did business of Rs 8.25 crore and on Sunday ‘The Kashmir Files’ earned Rs 15 crore. On the other hand, the first weekend gross of superstar Prabhas’ film ‘Radhe Shyam’ was Rs 14 crore. ‘The Kashmir Files’ is a low budget film. It is believed that the film ‘The Kashmir Files’ will make a lot of money in theaters in the coming days as the film is also getting rave reviews on social media.

Various issues related to Kashmir are seen in the film ‘The Kashmir Files’ directed by Vivek Agnihotri. Actors like Mithun Chakraborty, Anupam Kher, Pallavi Joshi, Punit Issar, Darshan Kumar will be seen in the film ‘The Kashmir Files’ based on true events on the issue of Kashmir and depicts the plight of the victims. During the launch of the trailer of the film ‘The Kashmir Files’, director Vivek Agnihotri said, “It was not easy to raise issues related to Kashmir on the big screen. This is a very sensitive issue.”

As the release date of ‘The Kashmir Files’ approached in India, the number of phone calls and messages was increasing. It may be mentioned here that Vivek Agnihotri, the director of ‘The Kashmir Files’ had earlier made the film ‘The Tashkent Files’.
