Talking about the research done for ‘The Kashmir Files’, actress Pallavi Joshi said, “We did the general research but at the same time we met the Kashmiri Pandits who lost their relatives and whose houses were looted.” We met the relatives of those who were killed and did research for ‘The Kashmir Files’. On the issue of making a film on the injustice done to Muslims in Godhra or any other place like Kashmiri Pandits, actress Pallani Joshi said that why are you asking us this question, there are others in the film industry.

According to a Box Office India report, ‘The Kashmir Files’ has crossed the 24 crore mark on the second Saturday of its release. If The Kashmir Files hits Rs 30 crore today, it could join the Rs 150 crore club. When ‘The Kashmir Files’ was released, only 700 screens were released, but now ‘The Kashmir Files’ has been increased to 4000 screens across the country. All the shows of ‘The Kashmir Files’ are running housefull in most theaters. So far, The Kashmir Files has grossed Rs 138 crore.

Vivek Agnihotri directed film ‘The Kashmir Files’ deals with various issues related to Kashmir. Actors like Mithun Chakraborty, Anupam Kher, Pallavi Joshi, Punit Issar, Darshan Kumar will be seen in the film ‘The Kashmir Files’ based on true events on the issue of Kashmir and depicts the plight of the victims. During the launch of the trailer of the film ‘The Kashmir Files’, director Vivek Agnihotri said, “It was not easy to raise issues related to Kashmir on the big screen. This is a very sensitive issue.”

In many states of India, ‘The Kashmir Files’ has been declared tax free. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has also praised the film ‘The Kashmir Files’ and said that more films like ‘The Kashmir Files’ need to be made so that people can know the truth. Everyone is reacting to this film.
