Well known Bollywood actress Yami Gautam is married to film director Aditya Dhar. Aditya Dhare directed the 2019 film ‘Uri: The Surgical Strike’. In which Yami Gautam was seen. Aditya’s first film as a director is ‘Uri: The Surgical Strike’ and he won the National Award for Best Director for his first film. Before becoming the director of ‘Uri: The Surgical Strike’, 39-year-old Aditya Dhare struggled hard.

Actress Yami Gautam’s husband Aditya Dhar is from Delhi and was born on March 12, 1983. Today he is 39 years old. He first wrote the lyrics for the 2008 film ‘Kabul Express’. Aditya Dhare then wrote dialogues for Ajay Devgn starrer films ‘Aakrosh’ and ‘Tez’. Aditya Dhare said that he came to Mumbai in 2006 and started his career as an assistant director. He used to go to the production house every morning and ask for work. He said assistant directors were then mistreated. There were only a few production houses where the assistant director was asked for water. I also worked as a radio jockey for a while.

Aditya Dhare has worked with veterans like Vidhu Vinod Chopra, Rohan Sippy, Vishal Bhardwaj and Priyadarshan. He said the salaries of assistant directors at that time were very low. That’s when I started writing songs. I got a job in the movie ‘Kabul Express’. Wrote dialogues for Ajay Devgn’s film ‘Aakrosh’. I realized that hard work is very important. The only thing on my mind was that when my time came I would show everyone my talent. Until then there is learning.

Aditya Dhare further said that I started writing scripts for films in the year 2009. “Before ‘Uri’, I was working on a film called ‘Raat Baki’,” he said. Talks were going on with Fawad Khan and Katrina Kaif but the project was stopped. Uri finally made it in the year 2019 and it was a super hit. Aditya Dhar and Yami Gautam came close to each other during the film ‘Uri’. They were in a relationship for about 2 years but kept it a secret. Suddenly he informed of the marriage and they are both very happy.
