Speaking to our associate ETimes TV, Kiran Bhatt said, “It’s a great feeling to play the iconic character of Natukaka. I was called for an audition by Asit Modiji. He liked my acting and chose me for the role of Natukaka. Asitji said, ‘You should do this role.’ And I couldn’t refuse him. I have met Ghanshyamji many times in the past. I always told him how good the show was. However, how did I know that one day I would be playing the character he played. The first day of shooting was emotional for me.”

Are you adopting the body language of an old Natukaka or adding something new of your own to the role? Responding to the question, Kiran Bhatt said, “To keep the character of Natukaka alive, I try to copy his speech style but in my own way. People loved him so much and that’s why I tried to stick to the type of character he was playing. I have been.”

Kiran Bhatt has done TV shows before

Many people may not be aware that Kiran Bhatt has worked in a popular TV show in the past. “Years ago I worked in a TV serial. In ‘Kyonki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi’ I played the role of Ketki Dave’s brother. That show was different and the serial I am doing now is different. Today a lot has changed. Today everything is different. Professionally and technically we are also rich. I haven’t done many shows because I was very busy with english theatre. I have written, directed, acted and produced plays. Before lockdown, english theater was doing well and today. But there is earnings in it. The situation was not good during the pandemic and lockdown but now the situation is on the mend.”
