Review
Failed in law exams, no job, no friends and frequent taunts from mother and sister… Satyaprem’s life is far from ideal but the smile on his face always remains, no matter what the situation. His father (Gajraj Rao) is his only friend, who understands him. When he learns that his son has fallen in love with the beautiful girl Katha at first sight, he supports her. At this point Katha is in love with a young man who is rich. But a ray of hope wakes up in Sattu’s mind when he learns that Katha has broken up with her boyfriend. With a smile on her face, Sattu goes out to confess her selfless love for Katha. He also doesn’t want to know why Katha broke up. A new chapter of this one sided love story opens and the story hides a big truth.

The actor, who met Aryan Khan and Raj Kundra in jail, made some shocking revelations

‘Satyaprem Ki Katha’ is not the kind of film you see in the trailer. This is a film that conveys a strong message. The story of the film goes off track at times but is entertaining. Writer Karan Srikant Sharma has penned punchy dialogues on a typical English family and their world-famous dhokla, khakhara ano gota. Amidst all this, the film is bound to give a social message. At some places the scenes of the story have been dragged.

Kiara Advani did justice to the character
Karthik Aryan wins hearts yet again in the role of Sattu, a simple boy who believes that ‘thinking before speaking the truth is a good thing’. Apart from this, his English pronunciation is good. However, in some scenes, his acting seems to repeat like previous films. On the other hand, Kiara Advani has also played her character very beautifully, which is the best in her career as Atyasudhi. Director Sameer and Writer have given voice to women in the film, which depicts a middle-class Ahmedabadi family, whose women not only run the household but also ensure that the men do not adopt a conservative mindset. However, Sattu’s dialogue like ‘Aap Pe Aisi So Bindania Kurban’ is quite different from the message of the film. Amid such dialogues, Gajraj Rao, Supriya Pathak and Siddharth Randeria entertain the audience with their characters. Manan Bharadwaj and Payal Dev have given the music for the film, which is poignant. Cinematographer Ayananka Bose has captured the beauty of Ahmedabad on screen.

Why watch?
‘Satyaprem Ki Katha’ gives a message. The subject depicted in it inspires and makes you think. The story not only entertains but also makes you emotional.
