Launching a newcomer is challenging for any filmmaker. This is because it has to be displayed well. It becomes necessary for an actor to give his best in the screen spa he gets. ‘Tadap’, directed by Milan Luthria, focuses on Ahan Shetty for a while.
An attempt has been made to give him an image of an Angry Young Man. ‘Tadap’ is a remake of the Telugu film ‘RX100’ released in 2018, based on true events.
By the interval, this film seems to you a typical love story. There is a poor boy and a rich girl. The same old story that her father is not ready to get married. However, after the interval, the film changes abruptly. Lovers fall apart.
The limit of passion comes. Ishaan’s character is slowly growing in the film. He is serious, angry, and full of passion. This role is good for Aahan for his debut film.
However, he may have to work a little harder on dialogue delivery. Ahan looks good on screen. She shines in her debut film.
The film’s writer Rajat Arora has no qualms about Ahan in terms of story and dialogues. Action-romance contributes a lot. Milan Luthria’s film has such heavy dialogues.
This will also be seen in ‘Tadap’. However, as a viewer, it sometimes feels like a burden. The plot of the film and its story seem tired and trapped after a while.

Saurabh Shukla has played the role of Ahan’s father in the film
The whole of Mussoorie calls him Daddy. Saurabh Shukla has done his job well on screen. Everything they do on screen feels good. Tara Sutaria looks beautiful in the role of Ishaan’s Lady Love Ramisa.
Whether the movie has a romantic scene or an emotional one, Tara looks beautiful in each one. However, he has nothing special to do with the screenplay. She could have done a better job if she had gotten a little more space.
The film manages to entertain as well as inform. The film starts to look boring in many places in the story of 2 hours and 10 minutes. The pace of the film slows down before the interval but in the second half, it seems as if the film has been put in a race.
There are many twists in the film, which creates drama. There are some forceful action scenes. The film manages to entertain as well as inform.
Pritam’s songs can be sung. This love story is good. The cinematographer has no qualms about showing the beauty of Mussoorie. ‘Tadap’ is a commercial film.
But it should not be overlooked that there are some sequences that do not fit in the film. The film’s love story is not able to connect viewers emotionally.
Overall ‘Tadap’ is a film that has romance, action, music, and beautiful plaintiffs. If you worked a little harder on the screenplay, the audience would leave the theater with a beautiful impression after watching the film.
